Yuzu Sorbet Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup yuzu juice (freshly squeezed or bottled)

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • Zest of 1 yuzu fruit (optional)

  • Mint leaves or fresh berries for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan, combine the water and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let the syrup cool to room temperature.

  2. Once the syrup has cooled, add the yuzu juice and zest (if using) to the saucepan. Stir well to combine.

  3. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions. This usually takes about 20-30 minutes.

  4. Once the sorbet has reached a soft, slushy consistency, transfer it to an airtight container. Place it in the freezer for at least 2 hours to firm up.

  5. When ready to serve, scoop the yuzu sorbet into bowls or glasses. Garnish with mint leaves or fresh berries if desired.

Enjoy your refreshing yuzu sorbet!
